HubSpot Consultant Job Description:
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and “scrappy” HubSpot Consultant to join our marketing team. This is a project-based role focused on optimizing our HubSpot platform, integrating it with other key systems, and enhancing our overall digital marketing capabilities. The ideal candidate is a deep subject matter expert in HubSpot with a strong understanding of best practices, workflow automation, and data management. You will be instrumental in helping our team leverage HubSpot to its fullest potential, addressing both immediate needs and providing strategic guidance for future growth.
Responsibilities:
Conduct a comprehensive audit of our current HubSpot instance to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
Provide strategic recommendations for optimizing our HubSpot usage, including data cleanup, workflow management, and feature implementation.
Implement and configure new workflows and automations to streamline marketing processes and improve efficiency.
Assist with data cleanup and ensure data integrity within the HubSpot platform.
Collaborate with the internal marketing team to provide hands-on training and knowledge transfer, enabling them to become more self-sufficient in managing the platform.
Support integration efforts between HubSpot and our Microsoft Dynamics CRM system.
Provide guidance on using HubSpot’s AI tools for content creation, personalization, and data augmentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Deep Subject Matter Expertise: Proven experience as a HubSpot expert, with a strong understanding of its various hubs (specifically Marketing Hub) and features.
Technical Proficiency:
Significant experience with workflow automation and building complex, nuanced automations.
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and experience with system integrations.
Knowledge of other tools in our tech stack, including WordPress (for website pop-ups, forms, and gated content) and the Google ecosystem (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Looker Studio).
Experience with Zapier or other automation tools is a plus.
Strategic & Collaborative Mindset: The ability to not only execute tasks but also to provide strategic insights and work closely with our internal team. You should be able to operate autonomously on defined projects while also engaging in synchronous working sessions with our team.
Adaptability: A flexible and “scrappy” approach to problem-solving, capable of tackling diverse projects without needing a rigid, formal process.
English Fluency: Excellent communication skills are essential for both synchronous collaboration with the US-based team and for clear, asynchronous communication.
Project Details
This is a project-based role with an initial focus on auditing our current HubSpot usage and creating a roadmap for optimization. The scope of work may evolve to include longer-term support for data cleanup and integration projects, particularly as we prepare for a future CRM integration with our Microsoft Dynamics system. The role offers flexibility for both synchronous and asynchronous work, accommodating potential time zone differences.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $95 to $105 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
