About the Role:
As a Senior Instructional Designer, you will play a vital role in analyzing, designing, and developing engaging and effective training programs. You will collaborate with subject matter experts, management, and eLearning specialists to create innovative learning solutions that meet the evolving needs of the organization. Your work will directly impact employee performance and contribute to the overall success of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough job-task analyses and needs assessments to identify learning objectives and determine optimal training solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to develop individual training program goals, overall program objectives, and module objectives.
- Apply instructional design principles and adult learning theory to create engaging and effective course content, utilizing various training methodologies and media.
- Partner with eLearning specialists to develop sophisticated eLearning programs and applications using industry-standard tools.
- Research, select, and modify existing training materials to meet specific learning needs.
- Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and test results to identify areas for improvement.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Articulate 360
- Proven experience in instructional design, including needs analysis, curriculum development, and evaluation.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Prior experience in the insurance industry.
- Prior experience with Underwriting.
