Through Aquent, we are seeking a visionary Talent Acquisition Sourcer to join their dynamic team. As a Talent Acquisition Sourcer, you will be a strategic force, diving deep into talent markets to scout and engage top-tier Engineering talent. Your focus will be on building robust pipelines for highly specialized and hard-to-find skillsets, particularly within the cutting-edge fields of AI and other critical technical domains. This contract position, initially for 3 months with potential for quarterly extensions up to 18 months, offers a unique chance to leverage your advanced sourcing prowess and contribute significantly to a global talent acquisition organization, ensuring our client continues to attract the best in the business.
**Your Impact:**
* **Strategic Partnership:** You will establish and nurture strong relationships with hiring managers, gaining a deep understanding of their current and future talent needs to proactively shape hiring strategies.
* **Pipeline Architect:** You will strategize and build proactive, high-quality talent pipelines for critical, hard-to-find skillsets, demonstrating agility to adapt quickly to evolving demands.
* **Talent Scout:** You will master the art of discovery, performing comprehensive searches for qualified candidates using a diverse array of channels, including advanced database queries, professional networks, internet recruiting resources, direct outreach, and employee referrals.
* **Engagement Specialist:** You will conduct initial screenings, expertly assessing work history, training, education, and job-specific skills to identify top prospects.
* **Brand Ambassador:** You will engage potential applicants, informing them of exciting employment possibilities, providing transparent updates on their consideration status, and guiding them through the selection process.
* **Career Advisor:** You will passionately inform prospective applicants about the organization’s vibrant culture, impactful operations, comprehensive benefits, and unparalleled job and career growth opportunities.
**What You Bring:**
* Minimum 5 to 7 years of talent acquisition experience, specifically in a sourcing or recruiting capacity, OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Liberal Arts, or a related field.
* A deep understanding of talent markets and candidate profiles, with the ability to develop and execute effective hiring strategies under tight deadlines.
* Proven experience in engaging and screening senior, competitive, and passive talent.
* Fluency in advanced sourcing strategies and proficiency across platforms such as LinkedIn, GitHub, Google Scholar, Hugging Face, and other open-source communities.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication, negotiation, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Proficiency with professional sourcing tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter and LinkedIn Insights, and experience in creating comprehensive sourcing strategies.
* Demonstrated market analytics skills, capable of understanding and articulating talent market insights to recruiters, internal stakeholders, and leadership.
* A track record of consistently delivering qualified, calibrated talent, aiming for at least 30 tech-screened candidates for volume pipelines or 15 deeply qualified candidates for specialized, high-bar roles per month.
* Experience with standard office productivity suites.
