We are partnering with a large, well-known enterprise retail organization to find an Associate SEO Manager to play a critical role in driving organic search performance across a complex, high-traffic eCommerce ecosystem. This role is ideal for an SEO professional who has already operated in a fast-paced, enterprise eCommerce environment and is ready to lead initiatives, communicate impact, and influence execution across teams.

In this role, you will own and execute SEO initiatives focused on category-level optimization, seasonal priorities, and large-scale content improvements. You’ll work closely with eCommerce, merchandising, UX, content, development, analytics, and an external SEO agency to ensure recommendations are prioritized, approved, implemented, and measured effectively.

This is not a purely executional role—you’ll be expected to act as an SEO subject-matter expert, confidently explaining performance, tradeoffs, and opportunities to non-SEO stakeholders. If you value ownership, autonomy, and being trusted to drive results within a sophisticated organization, this role offers meaningful impact and visibility.

What You Will Do:

  • Own and execute SEO initiatives that support organic growth across enterprise eCommerce and category pages.
  • Partner with merchandising, eCommerce, UX, content, analytics, developers, and an external SEO agency to drive aligned execution.
  • Lead content optimization efforts for priority categories and seasonal campaigns, ensuring SEO, UX, and conversion goals are balanced.
  • Translate SEO strategies into clear requirements for content and development teams, including raising and managing Jira tickets.
  • Prioritize and support technical SEO efforts at scale, including crawlability, indexation, internal linking, site speed, and template-level improvements.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to identify gaps and opportunities within an enterprise landscape.
  • Track and report performance using GA4, Google Search Console, and enterprise SEO tools, clearly communicating impact to stakeholders.
  • Present insights and results to cross-functional partners, adapting messaging for both technical and non-technical audiences.

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience within an enterprise eCommerce environment (in-house experience strongly preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience working closely with content, UX, development, and analytics teams to implement SEO recommendations.
  • Proven ability to communicate SEO performance and strategy to non-SEO stakeholders, including senior partners.
  • Strong understanding of technical SEO fundamentals and how to prioritize them within large, complex sites.
  • Experience using GA4, Google Search Console, and enterprise SEO platforms (e.g., Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, BrightEdge, Botify).
  • Ability to show measurable impact from SEO work (traffic quality, revenue contribution, conversion improvements, seasonal performance).
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple initiatives in a high-velocity environment.
  • Hybrid availability (on-site multiple days per week).

Nice to Have

  • Bilingual (English/French).
  • Experience presenting SEO insights to executive or leadership audiences.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted content workflows and SEO quality controls.
