Join a world-renowned leader in athletic apparel and footwear, a company dedicated to inspiring athletes and innovators worldwide. Through our partnership with Aquent, we are seeking a highly skilled individual to play a pivotal role in bringing cutting-edge designs to life. This is an incredible opportunity to directly impact the creation and fit of performance apparel, translating visionary concepts into tangible, high-quality garments that empower athletes to achieve their best. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring precision, comfort, and functionality, making a tangible difference in the final product experience.

As a seasoned technical pattern professional, you will be instrumental in the development process, working closely with design teams to transform initial sketches into detailed, production-ready technical patterns. This role is deeply rooted in the technical artistry of garment construction, focusing on the engineering of fit and form rather than creative design. You will be the architect of how clothing is built, ensuring every measurement and seam contributes to a superior product.

**What you’ll do:**

* Translate designer sketches and concepts into comprehensive technical patterns, serving as the blueprint for garment construction.
* Create detailed technical drawings and precise measurements essential for manufacturing.
* Assess and refine garment fit, ensuring optimal comfort, performance, and aesthetic appeal.
* Adjust and modify existing patterns to meet evolving design requirements and fit standards.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing technical expertise on garment construction and pattern engineering.
* Develop and maintain technical documentation used in the production of apparel items.
* Represent the brand with professionalism, potentially interacting with athletes to understand functional needs and gather feedback.

**What you’ll bring:**

* **Must-Have Qualifications:**
* 5+ years of experience as a Technical Designer specializing in pattern making or pattern adjustments.
* Demonstrated ability to create technical patterns from scratch and modify existing patterns for performance apparel.
* Strong knowledge of garment construction techniques, with a preference for knits (knowledge of wovens is also beneficial).
* A portfolio showcasing your pattern knowledge, relevant work examples, and the complexity of your pattern design skills.
* Ability to perform functional work while representing the brand effectively.
* **Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**
* Experience with performance wear, outerwear, dresses, and skirts.
* Familiarity with digital pattern management and collaboration tools for tracking changes and comments.
