About the Role:
Our Marketing Studio team is seeking an experienced analytics professional to backfill a Senior Studio Analytics Manager during two separate bonding leave periods. This is a critical operations-focused analytics role supporting the creative studio organization—NOT traditional marketing performance analytics.
You’ll be the subject matter expert on studio operations data, reporting on team capacity, utilization, demand volume, and operational efficiency metrics to internal leadership. This role requires someone who can translate complex operational data for creative stakeholders while maintaining technical fluency with data engineering teams.
What Makes This Role Unique
This is operations analytics for a creative organization, not marketing campaign analytics. You won’t be measuring customer insights, campaign performance, or marketing ROI—you’ll be measuring how efficiently the internal creative studio operates. Think call center analytics applied to a creative services team: tracking how busy they are, how demand flows, and how to optimize capacity and output.
The ideal candidate has worked in operational analytics environments (customer service centers, production operations, fulfillment centers) where they tracked volume, capacity, and efficiency metrics to help leaders make staffing and resource allocation decisions.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews (MBRs/QBRs) with Tableau visuals and operational analysis
- Serve as data SME for cross-functional partners, translating metrics for creative-focused stakeholders
- Investigate and troubleshoot data flows by partnering with data engineering teams in Snowflake
- Navigate Tableau dashboards to surface insights in response to leadership questions
- Maintain business continuity through comprehensive shadowing with incumbent
Must-Haves
Technical:
- Tableau proficiency – primary tool for all visuals and reporting
- Snowflake experience – work with data warehouse and cross-functional partners
- Operational analytics background – capacity planning, utilization metrics, volume forecasting, efficiency measurement
- Systems fluency – quick learner of data sources and technical infrastructure
Background:
- 5+ years in operations analytics (call center, customer service, production operations—NOT marketing campaign analytics)
- Experience with operational KPIs: staffing/headcount planning, capacity utilization, volume management, operational efficiency
Soft Skills:
- Translate data insights for non-technical creative stakeholders
- Investigative problem-solver who intuitively knows where to find answers in data
- Self-starter comfortable getting up to speed quickly
- Equally comfortable presenting to leadership and troubleshooting with engineers
Nice-to-Have: SQL, Excel, Google Analytics, Power BI, Workfront/project management tools
