About the Role
In this pivotal role, you will be a key driver in enhancing supply chain capabilities for critical infrastructure. You will lead projects focused on system changes, business requirements, solution discussions, and design reviews, all aimed at ensuring the continuous availability of essential components. Your work will directly support spares supply chain operations, ensuring that whenever a component fails, a replacement is readily available, thereby safeguarding customer-facing cloud services from disruption. This is an opportunity to leverage your technical project management and supply chain expertise to deliver impactful solutions within a fast-paced and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support projects and initiatives focused on spares supply chain (Procurement & Fulfillment).
- Develop comprehensive business requirements, detailed process flows, engaging presentations, thorough test scripts, and other essential project documentation.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams, including project managers, IT specialists, and developers, to drive project execution and system enhancements.
- Actively participate in and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new enhancements and system changes.
- Gather and analyze requirements from business stakeholders, translating them into actionable project plans and deliverables.
- Ensure successful implementation of supply chain system enhancements, meticulously documenting project progress and outcomes.
- Track key success measures and maintain a robust RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) log to proactively manage project health.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 9-10+ years of experience in supply chain system implementations, specifically covering areas like order management, logistics, and distribution.
- 9-10+ years of experience in technical project management, demonstrating a proven track record of working with technical teams, systems, and implementations.
- 9-10+ years of experience in developing business requirements, crafting process flows, creating project plans, and delivering impactful PowerPoint presentations for projects.
- 9-10+ years of experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or other similar enterprise resource planning platforms.
- Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical and business concepts clearly.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of SAP ERP.
- Proven system testing experience.
- Experience with supplier on-boarding processes.
- Trade experience relevant to supply chain operations.
