The Global Business Solutions (GBS) organization operates four regional shared service centers around the world in Singapore; Shanghai, China; Cork, Ireland and Austin, Texas. As our client continues to grow its global presence in new and existing markets, the GBS organization is also growing to better manage and operate the regional sites and drive global coordination.
Job description:
You will work with a variety of cross-functional teams and external customers or partners to drive automated solutions, reporting and accurate billings and credits. You will work on automations to support large complex data set reconciliations. This includes any necessary manual revenue booking. Additionally, you will support daily interactions with carrier to track and resolve situations manually. This includes any cross-functional process improvements with upstream. You will also be responsible for creating and generating reports and any audit tasks needed to support growth. The tasks and deliverables are time sensitive and a proactive approach to ensure deadlines are consistently met. In addition, you will recommend and lead process improvements to improve the productivity and scalability of key processes. The individual will interact with different levels of management and must communicate effectively at all levels. You will be responsible for prioritizing and working several tasks simultaneously. You will also be responsible for other ad hoc requests .
Responsibilities include:
- Own the day-to-day process for reconciling and tracking variances related to residual commission
- Partnering with cross functional teams to based on critical timeframes
- Drive & maintain system automation, process improvements, and operational metrics
- Perform monthly/quarterly revenue adjustments and reserve analysis
- Work closely with Information Systems & Technology, Order-to-Cash, various Finance & Sales groups to ensure that root cause is identified, processes are sustainable, scalable, and produce accurate results
- General understanding of SOX controls
Education
- BBA, BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience
