Partnering with Aquent, we are seeking talented individuals to join a leading organization renowned for its commitment to excellence and innovation within its industry. This company is dedicated to safeguarding its operations and ensuring robust internal controls, playing a critical role in maintaining trust and operational integrity. Are you a meticulous and analytical professional with a keen eye for detail? We are looking for a dedicated Internal Control Review Analyst to make a significant impact by strengthening our internal control framework. In this dynamic role, you will be at the forefront of evaluating and enhancing critical processes, directly contributing to the integrity and reliability of our operations. Your expertise will be vital in synthesizing complex data, identifying key insights, and ensuring our controls meet the highest standards, ultimately protecting our organization and its stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Prepare internal control review documentation using standardized evaluation templates.
* Retrieve review dates from various systems and details from specialized platforms.
* Perform third-party verification for applicable suppliers.
* Retrieve prior internal control reports from various systems, including related controls and noted exceptions.
* Compare prior year exceptions to current year exceptions and document findings.
* Map internal controls to organizational standards and document alignment.
* Update applicable inventories with current review status.
* Save all supporting artifacts and related communications to designated collaboration platforms.
* Draft stakeholder communication emails summarizing review outcomes and request support and sign-off.

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* Proficiency in Microsoft tools, specifically Excel.
* PMP certified or prior project management experience.
* High attention to detail with the ability to synthesize data from multiple source systems.
* Strong oral and written communication skills for partnering with internal stakeholders.
* Intellectually curious with a growth mindset; proactively seeks to understand context beyond assigned tasks, asks thoughtful questions, and continuously looks for ways to improve processes.
* Comfortable leveraging AI tools (such as Claude or similar) to improve personal productivity, summarize information, and support documentation tasks; willingness to learn and experiment with emerging tools as they are introduced.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**

* Background in audit, compliance, governance, internal controls, or risk management.
* Prior experience reviewing internal control reports and familiarity with internal control frameworks.
* Experience with procurement, risk management, or process automation platforms.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $44 to $49. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
