Job Description:
Our Canada based learning and development client is looking for an E-Learning Developer working in Articulate Storyline to join for ongoing project to project work.
Job Role: E-Learning Developer / Storyline
- Our client is looking to build a bench of E-Learning Developers, available for project to project based freelance work and working in Articulate Storyline.
- Candidates for this role must be Canada based, (T4)
- Fully remote, team works EST hours
- Estimated start date: after an interview with hiring manager
- Duration: open ended project to project work,
- Hours per week will vary depending on project work load
- Candidates for this role must be available to work from 9AM-5PM EST. (Completing assignments after hours or over the weekend is not an option)
- Candidates for this role must provide their own laptop and Articulate 360 license.
This project will include:
- They will be working to assemble very engaging learning modules that will bring together multiple media assets.
- They will also be expected to build engaging sections within Storyline – including activities such as building a product from start to finish.
- Our client’s client is one of the most known brands in Canada.
- Timelines are tight, and communication with the team is a must throughout.
The ideal candidate will be responsible:
For designing, developing, and maintaining e-learning courses that are SCORM/xAPI compliant and meet the specific needs of our clients. They should be comfortable working in a team environment and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the instructional design team to Develop e-learning courses using Articulate 360
- Create engaging and interactive course content that is SCORM/xAPI compliant And compatible with multiple learning management systems
- Have a good eye for graphic design and the ability to follow brand guidelines
- Understand how to set up courseware with meaningful reporting for multiple learning management systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during course development or delivery.
- Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure courses are functioning properly and meeting client expectations
- Stay up-to-date with the latest e-learning trends, technologies, and techniques
- Assist with project planning and timelines, ensuring that deadlines are met
- Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, computer science, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience developing e-learning courses using Articulate 360
- Strong understanding of SCORM/xAPI and other e-learning standards
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and learning content management systems (LCMS) is a plus
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Candidates must provide links to recent Storyline work samples prior to being submitted to this role.
