Receptionist (Fitness Center)

Overview

FRONT DESK GREETER (part-time contractor)

• Location: Seattle, WA
• Hours: 9:15 am to 5:45 pm
• Must be able to pick up 45 lbs 
• W2, weekly pay, benefits, 401k w/ match
• Background screening required

The ideal greeter loves conversing with members and is willing to go above and beyond by learning members’ names and greeting everyone with a warm smile and eye contact. They should be willing to fill in as needed for mornings, nights, and weekend shifts. A greeter presents a positive first impression of the Fitness Center’s friendliness, excellent customer service, and high standards.

Description

• Greeting incoming and departing members warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact
• Escorting members to massage and other appointments.
• Assisting members in-person with unlocking lockers, as well as operating the remote lock box over the phone, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Observing members’ needs.

Key Qualifications

• Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, and weekends.
• Familiarity with Apple products.
• Experience in customer service.
• Strong time management. 
• Previous experience working in a fitness center, gym, or similar health and wellness environment.
