We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented accounting professional to step into a critical role within corporate accounting. This position is central to supporting global accounting operations, enhancing internal controls, and spearheading vital process improvements. You will be instrumental in executing month-end close activities, contributing to cross-functional initiatives, and managing special projects, operating with independence and a proactive mindset in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

**Responsibilities:**

* Lead and execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations.
* Conduct thorough variance analysis and investigate discrepancies to ensure financial accuracy.
* Provide essential support for both internal and external audit requests, ensuring compliance and transparency.
* Support the maintenance of reconciliation portals and systems, ensuring data integrity and operational efficiency.
* Maintain comprehensive supporting documentation and schedules in compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Actively participate in walkthroughs and testing with auditors and internal stakeholders, providing requested materials for audits.
* Contribute to various accounting and finance initiatives, including system implementations, process enhancements, and other assigned special projects.

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
* Minimum of 5 years of total accounting experience.
* Proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, with experience in advanced reconciliation and financial management platforms.
* Demonstrated experience with improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
* Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**

* CPA certification.
