Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Global Product Marketing Associate to support innovation and portfolio management within a dynamic face category. This role will act as a key partner to the hiring manager, owning projects end-to-end—from concept development through global launch execution.

This is a fast-paced, high-impact role at the intersection of product innovation, creative development, and data-driven strategy, ideal for someone with a strong foundation in beauty marketing who thrives in a collaborative, global environment.

Key Responsibilities

Product Innovation & Concept Development

  • Partner with Global Category Innovation to develop category strategies and product roadmaps
  • Generate creative product concepts rooted in consumer insights, market trends, and competitive analysis
  • Identify whitespace opportunities and propose new product ideas aligned with brand DNA
  • Translate trends (TikTok, Instagram, WGSN, etc.) into actionable innovation concepts

End-to-End Project Ownership

  • Own product development from concept to launch, including:

    • Insights & positioning

    • Formula direction
    • Packaging design & artwork approvals
    • Merchandising and launch strategy
  • Manage timelines, milestones, and cross-functional coordination to ensure on-time delivery
  • Monitor risks, troubleshoot issues, and proactively drive projects forward

Portfolio Management & Performance

  • Support ongoing management of core product portfolio and innovation pipeline
  • Monitor SKU performance and category growth across markets
  • Analyze performance data and provide insights to inform future strategy
  • Identify opportunities to optimize or refresh existing products

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with internal teams including Labs, Packaging, Legal, Brand Experience, and Campaign teams
  • Collaborate with global markets and zones to ensure strong local adoption of launches
  • Gather feedback from key markets to refine product concepts and strategies
  • Act as a central point of coordination to align stakeholders and drive execution

Creative & Content Development

  • Lead development of packaging vision and oversee artwork execution
  • Support creation of integrated campaign briefs and activation assets
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand standards and storytelling
  • Partner with content teams to drive always-on and launch-specific content

Operational & Strategic Support

  • Create innovation briefs and product codes (Magellan, Compass, Cosmo)
  • Support development of strategic presentations and business updates
  • Manage claims development process in partnership with labs and product teams
  • Track and report on project progress, timelines, and deliverables

  • Successful execution of product launches
  • On-time delivery across all project milestones
  • Strong global market adoption and execution consistency
  • Portfolio performance and growth

Qualifications

Required

  • 2+ years of experience in global marketing, product marketing, or beauty innovation
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data interpretation
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Passion for beauty, trends, and consumer behavior

Preferred

  • Experience within a global beauty or CPG organization
  • Exposure to product development, packaging, or innovation pipelines
  • Familiarity with trend forecasting platforms (e.g., WGSN)
  • Experience working cross-functionally across global teams
