We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team and play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of our clinician network. In this position, you will be at the forefront of upholding crucial standards, directly impacting our ability to provide exceptional care by ensuring our network of clinicians is fully qualified and compliant. Your expertise will be essential in navigating complex regulatory landscapes, supporting our clinicians, and contributing to the overall success of our operations.
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Be authorized to work in the United States
- Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment
- Be able to work on a W-2 basis. C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position
- Be able to showcase samples of your work through case studies and/or a portfolio
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure comprehensive compliance with regulatory bodies, health plan contracts, and federal requirements.
- Verify state licenses, exclusion lists, DEA registrations, and board certifications on an ongoing basis to maintain an active and qualified clinician network.
- Manage the enrollment of clinicians in government healthcare programs, adhering to established guidelines.
- Facilitate the state licensure application process for clinicians.
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal departments to support seamless operations.
- Maintain meticulous files, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and adherence to quality standards and accreditation requirements.
- Prepare and disseminate information to internal and external stakeholders as appropriate.
- Accurately enter, update, and maintain provider application data within the credentialing database, ensuring data integrity and adherence to internal policies.
- Prepare, issue, electronically track, and follow up on appropriate verifications for efficient, high-volume processing of individual applications, meeting strict timelines and procedural guidelines.
- Serve as a clear and responsive communicator for day-to-day credentialing inquiries from providers, internal/external clients, and all staff.
- Stay informed on industry regulations and legislation, enhancing understanding of the healthcare industry, and assist with special projects as needed.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of preferred experience in credentialing or licensure.
- Demonstrated ability to verify licensure and educational credentials.
- Proven experience with application processes and documentation.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong administrative skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive personal health information (PHI) with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in data entry and database management.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Certification as a Provider Credentialing Specialist (e.g., NAMSS CPCS).
- Experience with credentialing software.
- Familiarity with common office productivity suites.
- Prior experience with clinician licensure processes.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $16.37 to $18.87 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location
