To be considered for this role, you must:
- Be authorized to work in the United States
- Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment
- Be able to work on a W-2 basis. C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position
What You’ll Do:
- Complete comprehensive patient admission and registration processes, adhering to all regulatory requirements and established policies.
- Accurately obtain and document crucial financial information, including deductibles, co-payments, and deposits.
- Secure necessary patient signatures on all legal and registration-related documents.
- Safeguard patient valuables in strict accordance with departmental protocols.
- Digitize and organize all relevant patient documentation into digital systems by the end of each shift.
- Utilize various online platforms and verification tools to gather essential insurance and patient demographic details.
- Excel in performing high-quality registrations, even during peak periods, by prioritizing tasks effectively to enhance customer service, operational efficiency, and financial benefits.
- Cultivate strong cooperative relationships with both administrative and clinical staff, promptly providing essential support materials like identification bands and patient information.
- Efficiently manage and update patient notifications and transitions from clinical teams.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment, readily offering assistance to colleagues and recognizing when support is needed, while also demonstrating the ability to produce high-quality work independently.
- Deliver sensitive, timely, and appropriate customer service for all patient interactions, including managing visitor authorizations.
- Ensure the proper distribution of privacy practice notices in compliance with relevant regulations and organizational policies.
- Participate actively in department meetings, workshops, and ongoing training to foster continuous improvement.
- Maintain collaborative working relationships with internal teams and external agencies.
- Ensure office equipment is in proper working order and demonstrate familiarity with contingency procedures for operational continuity.
What You’ll Bring (Must-Have):
- High school diploma.
- Typing speed of 30 words per minute.
- Proficiency in using multiple computer programs simultaneously.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated strong customer service capabilities.
- Self-motivated with excellent task prioritization abilities.
- Ability to work comfortably at both stationary and mobile workstations, accommodating sitting and standing.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with a culturally diverse staff in a highly sensitive and often stressful environment.
- Flexible availability to accommodate training and work schedule requirements.
Bonus Points (Nice-to-Have):
- * An Associate’s (AA) degree.
- * Proficiency in a second language.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45.80 to $49.82 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location
