Manager, B2B Supplier Enablement & Strategy (Alternative: Product Strategy Lead, Commercial Card & Supplier Enablement)

Role Overview

As the Manager of B2B Supplier Enablement, you will sit at the critical intersection of portfolio strategy and technical execution. You are not just managing a product; you are architecting the bridge between corporate buyers and their supplier networks.

This remote, EST-based role requires a B2B payments expert who can navigate the complexities of Commercial Card products while performing the rigorous cost/benefit and risk analyses necessary to drive growth. You will be expected to translate dense technical data into high-level, “C-suite ready” narratives that influence stakeholders and move the needle on portfolio performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supplier Enablement Strategy: Drive the expansion of the B2B portfolio by designing and overseeing end-to-end supplier enablement programs that maximize card spend and network participation.
  • High-Stakes Communication: Synthesize complex portfolio data and project updates into concise, visually compelling presentations for executive leadership and key external partners.
  • Advanced Analytical Oversight: Perform deep-dive cost/benefit and risk analyses to validate project viability and ensure competitive pricing structures.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead multi-workstream programs from inception to delivery, serving as the primary bridge between technical teams, sales, and global clients.
  • Proactive Risk Mitigation: Identify potential bottlenecks in the enablement process and develop creative, data-backed solutions to maintain aggressive timelines without compromising quality.

Experience & Skills

  • B2B Subject Matter Expert: Deep, nuanced understanding of B2B Supplier Enablement workflows, Commercial Card products, and the broader corporate payments ecosystem.
  • Analytical Communicator: Exceptional ability to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights for an executive audience. You “speak” both data and strategy fluently.
  • Strategic Executor: A proven track record of leading large-scale, cross-functional projects in global, multicultural environments.
  • Methodology Minded: Well-versed in formal project and change management techniques; a PMP or similar accreditation is highly preferred.
  • Global Perspective: Experience managing stakeholders across different geographies and time zones is essential.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Advanced Degree preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years specifically within B2B Payments, with a documented focus on Supplier Enablement or Commercial Cards.
  • Schedule: Ability to work a full-time EST-based schedule from a remote location.
  • Technical Proficiency: Mastery of project management frameworks and advanced analytical tools (Excel, Tableau, or similar BI tools).
