In this role, you will work closely with our client’s Healthcare Business organization to research and design best-in-class experiences across multiple channels and platforms, including web and mobile web. You will plan and execute research studies, gather and analyze data, and present actionable insights to inform product and design decisions. The ideal candidate will have significant work history orchestrating and conducting a wide range of usability and user research methodologies across omni-channel experiences.
You aren’t just running tests; you are a consultant to the business. You will translate complex user behaviors into actionable insights that directly influence product roadmaps and design innovation, ensuring our members navigate their healthcare journey with clarity and ease.
Research responsibilities:
- Act as a top-level specialist in the field of digital UX Research, leveraging comprehensive knowledge and extensive experience to provide expert insights and recommendations.
- Attend intake meetings with a variety of stakeholders and guide discussions surrounding appropriate UX research methods to achieve business and design goals.
- Plan, design and administer usability studies on a wide range of websites and mobile apps.
- Oversee all phases of usability test preparation including screening criteria and test script development.
- Identify and implement a variety of methods for getting input and feedback from customers including remote-unmoderated and moderated studies, and others as appropriate.
- Analyze and present findings with actionable recommendations to a variety of internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate external research efforts with vendors or partners, seeking industry-leading practices and benchmarking opportunities.
- Consult on UX-related matters with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing across departments.
- Partner with other UX researchers, UX designers and Product owners to define and execute research activities within accelerated project timelines and agile development cycles.
- Have an appetite for inclusion and at a minimum have familiarity with digital accessibility best practices.
Required Skills:
- 7-10 years’ work experience in Usability, User Experience Research.
- Experience employing online research tools, such as UserZoom and UserTesting.
- Experience applying both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Experience conducting user needs assessments, tree tests, card sorting, clickstream analysis, usability testing, etc.
- Experience in the use and application of AI tools to conduct or augment User Experience Research.
Compensation Range: $50 -55/hr DOE
The range provided is our reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location.
