In this role, you won’t just be testing software; you’ll be directly contributing to the seamless integration of on-premises infrastructure with cutting-edge cloud solutions, making a tangible impact on customer experiences and product excellence.

You will play a pivotal role in the team responsible for owning and supporting a hybrid service that enables customers to synchronize on-premises file servers with cloud-based file shares. Your expertise will be crucial in testing, validating, and supporting this product, including deployments, customer scenarios, and all quality assurance activities. Your contributions will directly ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of this essential service, impacting countless users and businesses.

What You’ll Do:

  • Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures to validate product functionality.
  • Test system modifications thoroughly in preparation for implementation.
  • Develop comprehensive testing programs that address critical areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, and usability.
  • Document software defects meticulously using a bug tracking system and report findings to development teams.
  • Identify, analyze, and document problems related to program function, output, online screens, or content.
  • Monitor bug resolution efforts and track their successful implementation.
  • Create or maintain databases of known test defects for future reference.
  • Plan test schedules and strategies in accordance with project scope and delivery dates.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in a testing role.
  • Proven experience testing software applications.
  • Demonstrated experience writing test documentation, including Test Plans, scripts, and test results reports.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret test results, providing actionable recommendations for testing improvements.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Strong background in cloud services and server operating systems.
    Proven ability to quickly learn new products and technologies.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
