Aquent Studios is seeking a Senior Permanent Merchandising Designer with a strong background in beauty to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity to bring creative vision and strategic thinking to a global leader in the beauty industry.

About the Role
As a Senior Merchandising Designer, you will play a key role in shaping in-store and retail experiences across a dynamic beauty portfolio. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design impactful merchandising solutions that elevate brand storytelling and drive consumer engagement

We are seeking a highly collaborative graphic designer for visual merchandising who has the experience of
producing dynamic, editorial visuals while maintaining brand integrity across multiple accounts. This
individual should bring an exacting aesthetic and sharp attention to details. Organization is highly
expected as well as being able to balance multiple, fast-moving needs of multiple timelines. They
would eventually have direct responsibility for the management of specific account timelines and
graphics/walls as well as handling reviewing retouching and printer proofs. 
 
 
Key Accountabilities
•Interpret briefs, creating layouts within the framework of guidelines & style guides.
•Collaborate with marketing, sales, merchandising to fully understand creative scope and needs
•Adapt design across multiple systems and design under tight timelines and time constraints
•Prepare/direct mechanical die line production, file preparations for prepress and print production
•Direct retouching, aligning  to layout needs with internal teams
•Manage and direct color matching and print proof supervision/approvals
•Organize, prepare and track all graphics/rights/merch systems for multiple accounts
 
 
Required Personal Skills
•Must be collaborative, strategic-thinker, energetic, positive, self-starter, strong interpersonal skills
•Ability to accept and adapt designs to creative input / feedback.
•Highly organized. Ability to manage deadline expectations by prioritizing workload accordingly. 
•Listens and communicates effectively
 
Skills/experience required:
•Deep expertise with all relevant design software including Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Powerpoint.
• Accustomed to following a creative brief as a standard for design development 
• Strong sense of visual style – photography, design, typography, etc
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Timeline management capabilities
• Management skills for directing auxiliary teams, i.e. photographers, studios, modelmakers, display vendors required
• Beauty industry experience.

Other Requirements

Compensation Range: $55-65/hr

The range provided is our reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location.
