Are you a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional with a passion for sales and client success? We are seeking a dynamic individual to step into a pivotal support role, where you will directly contribute to revenue growth and client satisfaction. This is an incredible opportunity to be the strategic right hand to experienced sales leaders, driving business expansion across multimedia and addressable products. Your contributions will be instrumental in securing new partnerships, fostering existing relationships, and ensuring seamless campaign execution, directly impacting the company’s market presence and financial success.
As a key member of the sales team, you will provide essential support to Account Executives, focusing on growing revenue through new business generation, client retention, and expanding business across a diverse portfolio of content platforms. You will be empowered to drive both addressable and multimedia revenue, guided by local management, and will be crucial in maintaining accountability and clarity of account ownership within customer relationship management platforms.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* **Pre-Sales Support**:
* Coordinate with marketing and planning teams to respond to RFPs, create compelling pitches, and develop marketing briefs with sales communications, insights, and marketing solutions.
* Proactively identify new opportunities for clients by understanding the total book of business across traditional and digital media.
* Partner with the Insights team to develop and coordinate qualitative information for pre-sale planning and deck completion.
* Coordinate with the planning team on campaign strategies.
* After one year, with supervisor approval, engage in prospecting activities for new business and lead sales efforts on specific accounts, including building plans, pitching, and selling.
* **Active Campaign Management**:
* Provide exceptional customer service to clients and agencies.
* Collaborate with marketing, ad operations, and research teams to ensure full delivery of campaign elements.
* Facilitate the preparation of deal memos and coordination of “Playbooks” for larger campaigns.
* Lead weekly agency status calls or email communications regarding ratings and campaign reporting.
* Coordinate with ad operations to ensure liability and campaign delivery, critical for revenue recognition.
* Verify that plans are booked in the system, schedules are confirmed, CPMs are aligned, and all sponsorship elements are executed.
* **Post-Sales Engagement**:
* Work alongside Account Executives to foster client satisfaction and likelihood of renewal.
* Coordinate with sales communications and marketing teams on all recap sites and decks.
* Collaborate with research teams on custom studies, performance metrics, or reporting.
* Organize and share video clips with agencies and provide topline success stories when required.
**Must-Have Qualifications:**
* Proven ability to support sales efforts and contribute to revenue growth.
* Strong understanding of key sales drivers for both multimedia and addressable business.
* Experience with customer relationship management platforms.
* Excellent coordination and communication skills, particularly in managing multiple stakeholders (marketing, planning, insights, ad operations, research).
* Demonstrated ability to provide white-glove customer service.
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for managing deal memos, playbooks, and campaign details.
* Proactive mindset with the ability to identify new business opportunities.
**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**
* Aspiration to lead sales efforts and directly manage accounts.
* Experience or interest in prospecting for new business.
* Ability to build, pitch, and sell campaign plans.
