AirTable Operations Manager

Our client, a well-known tech brand is looking for an AirTable Operations Manager!

This project aims to support the foundational Operations ecosystem by overseeing our core project management tools. The AirTable Manager will serve as the owner of the centralized AirTable application—acting as the key point person responsible for the platform’s overall health, maintenance, and adoption. They will act as the primary enforcer of data integrity across the organization and play a crucial role in project intake, ensuring teams are properly resourced and smaller tasks are expertly managed.

Objectives (The What + Project Deliverables):
Own the centralized AirTable application, driving platform health, ongoing maintenance, and team-wide adoption.
Enforce strict data integrity across the operations ecosystem.
Play an active, crucial part in the Triage operation, ensuring all required data for resourcing a project has been thoroughly captured.
Act as the de facto Project Manager (PM) on “pebble” (smaller-scale) assignments that do not receive a dedicated PM.

Guiding Principles (The How)
Clarity over complexity: Streamline operations by helping design and maintain clean, logical Airtable architecture, interfaces, and automations that make workflows easier for the wider team.
Cross-functional alignment: Partner closely with Resource Managers, Producers, and Triage teams to ensure data flows seamlessly across the ecosystem.

Adoption: Identify and assign areas of data collection. Callout areas of under-reporting.

Operational rigor: Uphold strict data integrity standards so leadership and cross-functional teams can make informed resourcing and project decisions.

Success Metrics (The Outcome)

High adoption rates and positive health metrics for the centralized Airtable platform.
Seamless Triage operations with zero or minimal missing data points during the resourcing process.
Successful execution, tracking, and delivery of “pebble” assignments without the need for dedicated PM overhead.

Software/Skillsets:

Expert-level proficiency in Airtable (including database architecture, relational data, automations, and interfaces).
Strong operations, project management, and data governance experience.
Google Workspace for planning, documenting, and presenting.
