Our clients App Store is the world’s largest and most innovative software store. Designed to make discovering apps and games easier than ever before, it offers compelling stories, in-depth interviews, helpful tips, and collections of must-have apps and games that showcase our clients unique perspective and inspire customers every day. The Product & Design team is seeking a versatile 3D Designer to join their App Store Editorial
Content Design team. As a key member, you will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative, inspiring, and visually stunning 3D-led design solutions. You will work closely with designers, art directors, and App Store editors to bring concepts to life and deliver impactful editorial content. You’ll bring your functional expertise to a collaborative team committed to creative work that energizes and excites fans in new ways.

From design development to final production, the 3D Visual Designer will collaborate with the Content Design team to deliver compelling, elegant creative and establish 3D best practices. You are highly creative, a skilled problem-solver, adept at multitasking, and thrive under production deadlines. The 3D Visual Designer will help to shape the future of App Store Editorial content through a combination of technical expertise and creative
vision.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience focused on 3D design for media, entertainment, gaming, and/or marketing.
• Mastery of Cinema 4D, including animation, modeling, lighting, and texturing.
• Proficiency with the latest render engines (e.g., Redshift, Octane).
• Detail oriented with an acute ability to execute highly polished, composited style frames.
• Prior experience in a cross functional, fast paced collaborative production environment.
• Enthusiasm for apps, gaming, technology, and visual culture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of other 3D software, such as Maya, Unreal Engine and Unity.
• Adept at the technical aspects of rendering, plug-ins, and novel 3D workflows.
• Proactive, analytical thinking, excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• Strong design skills, including composition, typography, and brand systems.
