Public Relations Specialist

Overview

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Public Relations Specialist skilled in proactive and reactive communications.

• Location: Cupertino, CA
• Schedule: In-Office T/W/Th; Remote M/F
• Duration: through 11/3/2026
• Pay Comments:  W2, weekly pay, benefits, 401k w/ match
• Background screening required

Responsibilities: 

• Day-to-day coverage tracking across online and social (issues, general coverage, reviews, industry news, etc.)
• Momentum pitching, ideation, and execution, including but not limited to educating creators and press about new software features
• Develop relationships with geo product PR partners for activities such as momentum reporting, event planning, etc.
• Ad hoc requests/inquiries to internal partners such as Marcom, Product Marketing, and Developer Relations
• Contribute cross-functionally to hallmark events (for example, launch moments)
• Support the broader team as needed with writing, such as competitive reporting
• Ongoing list development and outreach, placement tracking, media list management 
• General in-bound requests: basic Q&A, asset dissemination, compilation of information 

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Public Relations, Communications, Media Relations, or a related field
• Experience supporting proactive and reactive communications strategies in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Mail, Pages, Numbers, Keynote, Slack, Box, and Quip
• Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, product, or communications teams preferred
