Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Media and Data Manager to join their Marketing Post-Production Services team. As part of the Marketing Post Services team, the Post-Production Media and Data Manager ensures source materials are delivered to key parties for the production of trailers, tv spots and other promos and gathering critical data needed for the creation, distribution and archiving of those marketing materials.

On titles assigned to them, the position is responsible for:

  • Identifying available A/V sources, facilitating their distribution, and tracking deliveries to creative and finishing vendors for offline editorial and final production of trailers, tv spots and other marketing asset masters
  • Sourcing information related to titles, versions, deliverables and scheduling
  • Creating and logging Media Orders that outline deliverables for finishing vendors and post-production supervisors and communicate expectations to the Services Operations teams including Marketing Services, Distribution, and Asset Management and Preservation
  • Ensuring metadata is up to date and Media Orders are revised when necessary
  • Partnering with AV Marketing Operations to make preview links for key assets available to cross functional partners
  • Sourcing finished marketing assets for internal teams as needed
  • Pulling finished assets from Box to share with creative vendors for their archival purposes
  • Providing general support to the AV Marketing Post team

In addition to being enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced environment as part of a team that consistently produces outstanding marketing campaigns, the ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, able to work independently, and have above average communication skills. Candidate will have significant knowledge of digital video and audio file formats and deliverables.

Key Qualifications

  • Manage requests to digital content supplier and help define delivery priorities to ensure vendors receive appropriate content, including most current editorial cuts, for offline and/or online editorial
  • Use internal and external asset management tools to determine what content is available; communicate content availability to creatives and post producers
  • Log requests in tracking database (Enter details at time request is made; record what files were delivered and when; ensure deliveries are complete and accurate); Follow up on pending requests and standing orders as needed
  • Communicate delivery issues (missing, incorrect or corrupt files) to digital content supplier
  • Ensure vendors are cleared by Content Security for access to pre-release assets; follow up as appropriate if vendors are not cleared
  • Facilitate vendor onboarding and profile updates with digital content supplier
  • Service internal library requests from MAM, such as requests from A/V Creatives to share finished marketing assets with creative agencies for the purposes of ideation and offline editorial
  • Work with Post Producers and A/V Operations to make sure Campaign Asset Trackers are complete and accurate in order to ensure timely creation of workorders
  • Submit Title Requests to Title Team for Variant ID generation. If necessary, consult with Post-Production Supervisors to identify differences between assets
  • Use workorder tool to generate workorders with accurate Asset IDs, file names and deliverables list. Log data and distribute work orders to Post Producers
  • Provide general support to Post Team including preparing for conversion of data tracking to Airtable, taking notes in team meetings, compiling information to assess departmental metrics, managing Box folders and participating in special projects as they arise

Requirements

  • 5-7 years working with digital media in a post-production environment, preferably in entertainment marketing at a Studio, Post-Production Vendor or a creative agency
  • General understanding of Film and Television Production and Post-Production processes as they relate to the creation and flow of assets end to end
  • 3+ years experience entering and searching data with a Digital Asset Management (DAM), Media Asset Management (MAM) or Production Asset Management (PAM) system or equivalent
  • Experience creating work orders, fulfilling, delivering and tracking asset requests required
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a demanding and fluid deadline driven Post-Production environment.
  • Experience with spreadsheets and navigating databases
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Xytech order management experience preferred
  • Airtable experience preferred
