**About the Role:**
Join a collaborative UX Research team focused on enterprise-level geospatial products and data. You will be at the forefront of understanding the complex needs of professional users, translating their challenges into actionable insights that guide product, design, and engineering teams. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to products that empower a diverse range of industries and sectors.
**What You’ll Do:**
* Strategically plan and execute comprehensive user research initiatives, working closely with stakeholders, partners, and fellow researchers.
* Conduct in-depth qualitative user research, including interviews and usability studies, from data collection to analysis and synthesis.
* Administer questionnaires and surveys to gather quantitative user feedback.
* Perform thorough literature reviews and desk research to inform research objectives and contextual understanding.
* Develop compelling presentations, reports, and highlight reels to effectively communicate research findings and recommendations.
* Actively advocate for user needs and research insights to diverse audiences through impactful written and oral presentations.
* Collaborate seamlessly with Design, Product, Engineering, and Program Management partners to ensure research recommendations are successfully implemented.
* Liaise with participant recruiting teams and manage participant onboarding processes.
* Support other user researchers with various research activities as needed.
**What You’ll Need:**
**Must-Have Qualifications:**
* BA/BS degree in Anthropology, Human Factors, Psychology, Sociology, or a related scientific or engineering research field.
* 2+ years of applied user research experience in a professional (non-academic, non-school, non-training) setting, gained post-graduation or post-training.
**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**
* Experience as a well-rounded qualitative UX researcher with exposure to mixed-methods or quantitative research skills.
