We’re seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing the accuracy and functionality of their advanced GIS platform. In this role, you will be instrumental in validating critical infrastructure data, ensuring seamless migration and robust performance of new mapping products. Your work will directly support the operational integrity of electric and gas networks, providing the foundation for reliable service and future innovation. **What You’ll Do:**

* Perform comprehensive data validation through multiple queries to ensure the accuracy of legacy mapping data migrated to an advanced Esri mapping system.
* Thoroughly review land base symmetry and verify connectivity at structures, ensuring cable connectivity remains intact.
* Conduct meticulous checks of attribute data for all linear and point data features pertaining to electric and gas components.
* Execute map symbology updates and develop effective symbology solutions as required.
* Conduct rigorous system testing to guarantee the full functionality of new mapping products.
* Maintain an organized primary database, including detailed Excel spreadsheets and other relevant data.
* Prioritize data tasks effectively and manage timelines for data review completion.
* Provide support for other GIS projects as needs arise, demonstrating flexibility and a collaborative spirit.
* Perform thorough reviews of project documentation related to test plans and execution, offering insightful comments to enhance quality and providing necessary approvals.
* Review test plans and scripts to ensure precise alignment with project goals and objectives.
* Utilize testing software for efficient test planning, execution, and reporting, maintaining comprehensive testing documentation and artifacts within these tools.

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* 2 years of experience utilizing ESRI ArcMap with demonstrated knowledge in Esri GIS.
* Proficiency in MXD building, spatial queries, and spatial analysis.
* Strong analytical skills complemented by a technical background.
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Experience within a utility environment.
* A quick learner capable of completing tasks with minimal supervision.
* Bachelor’s Degree.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**

* Experience using testing software for quality assurance processes.
