Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

This is a temp-perm assignment through Aquent working with a major pharmacy client. In this role, you will assist in preparing and distributing prescription medications using the automated fulfillment system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prescription Processing: Resolve billing rejects and contact patients or doctors when issues arise.
  • Data Entry: Enter patient demographics and prescription details into the system.
  • Problem Solving: Research insurance rejections and escalate complex questions to a Pharmacist.
  • Patient & Doctor Support: Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2–4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
  • Active state Pharmacy Registration/Certification (as required).
  • Basic computer proficiency.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $18.38 to $20 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
