The Opportunity
We are looking for a dynamic individual to step into a pivotal role, driving excellence in promotional standards and product label operations. In this position, you will be instrumental in shaping the quality management solutions for the entire promotional resource development lifecycle, including foreign language translation. You will also be at the forefront of developing and executing robust processes for product label updates within the market, ensuring all marketing and promotional materials are accurate and compliant. Your work will directly enhance operational efficiency, uphold regulatory standards, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, compliant promotional resources that empower informed decisions.
What You’ll Do
Problem-Solving and Issue Resolution
- Proactively identify potential issues and risks, then swiftly implement effective solutions to maintain operational flow.
- Lead cross-functional investigations into promotion execution issues, conducting thorough root cause analyses and developing appropriate Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA).
- Collect, analyze, and summarize investigation findings and trends, presenting key insights to senior leadership across various departments.
- Enhance the quality of promotional material review and release through routine audits, leading investigations, prioritizing critical issues, and collaborating to establish new standards and training for internal and external stakeholders.
- Strategically partner with technology and business process teams to guide the roadmap for platform and operational tools, ensuring alignment with key business priorities.
Process Design and Execution
- Facilitate the Label Change Communication Plan Implementation Committee upon notification of a label change, ensuring seamless communication.
- Provide critical oversight for the execution of label changes for the market, ensuring all timelines are met efficiently.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop and maintain all safety-related communication tactics.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert, offering invaluable consultation to Marketing and Promotion teams.
- Maintain robust procedures for creating and updating all Promotion Process Standards and Guidance Documents.
- Oversee and support the clear communication of processes to all relevant user groups for all Promotion Process Standards and Guidance Documents.
- Facilitate the Promotional Assessment and Asset Retirement Process for label updates and the Reapproval process.
What You’ll Bring
Required Education, Experience and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree (BS, BA).
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or another highly regulated environment.
- Proven experience working effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
- Exceptional communication skills across various channels (email, in-person, phone, and collaboration tools).
- Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority.
- Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively with team members.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to translate complex processes and standard operating procedures into simplified, user-friendly promotional guidance communications and training.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Superior project management skills, with the ability to prioritize work and thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Experience in Quality, Promotional Operations, and/or Marketing Operations related fields.
- Knowledge of the review team process within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience with promotional content management platforms.
The target hiring compensation for this role is $100 – 115K. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
