Aquent is partnering with a globally recognized retail and lifestyle brand that is synonymous with innovation and style, shaping trends and connecting with customers worldwide. This brand is celebrated for its dynamic presence and commitment to delivering exceptional experiences. We are seeking a talented individual to join their in-house creative services team, where your expertise will directly contribute to highly visible marketing campaigns during the most critical time of the year.

Join a fast-paced and high-impact creative team as a Production Artist, specializing in email design support. This is a unique opportunity to be at the heart of the brand’s busiest and most visible season, ensuring every digital and print communication is flawless. You’ll work closely with Senior Designers and Art Directors, transforming approved concepts into stunning, production-ready files. Your meticulous eye for detail and ability to thrive in a high-volume environment will be crucial in delivering marketing collateral that captivates millions and drives significant business results. If you are the kind of person who catches the smallest detail everyone else misses, you will be an invaluable asset to this team.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide essential production support to the Senior Designer and the layout production team, ensuring smooth workflow and timely delivery.
  • Skillfully lay out and resize diverse marketing collateral across multiple formats, maintaining design integrity and brand consistency.
  • Build intricate layouts and seamlessly adapt designs into standardized templates for efficient and scalable production.
  • Assemble all elements of production design and copy with unwavering accuracy, guaranteeing error-free final products.
  • Prepare final files for output, including pre-flight checks, exporting, and uploading to web-based systems.
  • Collaborate effectively with traffic, retouching, and marketing teams to manage deliverables and adhere to tight timelines.
  • Proactively action off-cadence business changes without compromising quality or efficiency.
  • Contribute to new design work, leveraging opportunities to apply your creative skills beyond production tasks.
  • Maintain impeccable file organization, uphold workflow best practices, and rigorously enforce brand standards across all projects.

What a Week Looks Like

Expect a dynamic rhythm where creative routes are initiated on Monday, feedback is integrated by Tuesday midday, and edits are re-routed and delivered by Thursday afternoon. You will be instrumental in managing these edits and deliveries, alongside any unscheduled, high-priority tasks that arise. It’s a fast-moving environment, and once you’re in the rhythm, you’ll find it exhilarating and rewarding.

What You Bring

  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Bridge, and Acrobat.
  • Proficiency in Figma is required.
  • Experience with animation.
  • Strong fundamentals in typography, layout, and graphic design.
  • Proven ability to translate approved concepts into various sizes and formats while maintaining continuity and brand cohesion.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the prepress process and file preparation for final output.
  • A meticulous, detail-obsessed approach to quality control.
  • Comfort and effectiveness in a high-volume environment with frequent last-minute changes.
  • Clear, proactive communication skills and a team-first mindset.
  • Professional industry experience (this is not an entry-level role).

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience working with a retail or lifestyle brand.
  • Familiarity with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
  • Scripting and automation skills.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates a diverse range of design work.
