Are you a passionate Full Stack Developer eager to make a tangible impact on customer-facing and backend applications? This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team focused on enhancing client experiences, accelerating time to market, and boosting efficiency. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our digital platforms, contributing directly to products that serve a vast user base and drive significant business outcomes. We are moving towards a Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration environment using Bamboo and BitBucket.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate closely with architects and business partners to define Agile stories for new capabilities.
  • Conduct thorough design and code reviews to ensure high-quality solutions.
  • Provide essential technical direction and support to your team members.
  • Engage in hands-on coding, unit testing, and production issue resolution.
  • Lead the design and implementation of new features and bug fixes.
  • Actively participate in product roadmap discussions and long-term strategic planning.
  • Develop innovative tools and practices to enhance team efficiency.
  • Mentor junior staff, guiding them in their professional development and career goals.
  • Foster strong partnerships with fellow developers, product owners, technical leads, and architects.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of comprehensive full stack application development experience, including a proven track record of mentoring and assisting junior team developers.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing web-enabled applications using:
    • **Front End Technologies/Concepts:** ASP.NET, Angular and/or AngularJS, JSON/XML, Sync/ASync services.
    • **Back End Technologies/Concepts:** .NET, .NET core, C#, RESTful API design, Micro-Services, and Event-driven architecture and frameworks.
    • **Database Technologies/Concepts:** Relational databases (SQL/Oracle).
    • **Environment:** Distributed Monolithic and Cloud Based Micro-services (Private Cloud/Pivotal Cloud Foundry).
  • A strong passion for enterprise-level agile development methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of web application environments and development tools, event-driven application development, session state management, web configuration and deployment strategies, security and performance tuning, and debugging methodologies.
  • Comfortable with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) concepts, unit testing principles and implementations, API test automation techniques, and automated deployment pipeline tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective time management, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task efficiently.
  • A passion for problem-solving, the ability to quickly learn new concepts, and the capacity to interact effectively with all levels of technical and business teams.
  • Proven ability to work independently while serving in a leadership role within a team.
  • A collaborative team player, self-motivated, and capable of working across organizations and geographic locations.
  • BS or higher in computer science or a related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Atlassian tool suite, including JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, and Bamboo, is strongly preferred.
