Make an Impact as a Sample Warehouse Associate

Are you a highly organized and detail-oriented individual looking to make a direct impact in a dynamic warehouse environment? We are seeking a proactive team member to join our client’s operations and play a pivotal role in managing their valuable sample inventory. In this temporary position, you will be essential in streamlining processes for liquidation and donation, directly contributing to the successful preparation of the warehouse for exciting new seasonal merchandise. Your precision and efficiency will be key to maintaining an organized and productive workspace, ensuring the smooth flow of products and supporting the client’s ability to innovate and deliver.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working as part of a team, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate apparel, footwear, and accessory samples to determine eligibility for liquidation or donation.
• Sort eligible merchandise by gender, product type, and liquidation/donation designation.
• Prepare, count, package, and label merchandise for shipment.
• Accurately document carton contents and inventory quantities.
• Palletize completed cartons and stage merchandise for shipment.
• Assist with loading and unloading incoming and outgoing sample shipments.
• Pull and pack warehouse orders accurately and efficiently.
• Organize and stage inventory with similar merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including sweeping, removing trash and recycling, stacking pallets, and organizing work areas.
• May occasionally operate a pallet jack; prior pallet jack experience is helpful but not required.
• Assist with additional warehouse duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to write clearly and legibly for inventory and shipping documentation.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Comfortable standing and walking for the majority of an 8-hour shift.
• Strong attention to detail when sorting, counting, and documenting merchandise.
• Ability to follow established warehouse procedures and safety guidelines.
• Dependable, organized, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, inventory, fulfillment, retail stockroom, shipping/receiving, or distribution experience is helpful.
• Experience handling apparel, footwear, accessories, samples, inventory, or retail merchandise.
