Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis & Quality Control: Analyze large utility datasets—including AMI usage, Customer Care & Billing (CC&B), and customer engagement data—to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and quality issues.

  • Visualization & Reporting: Design and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visual summaries to track product performance, billing outcomes, and key customer metrics.

  • Digital Product Support: Support customer-facing digital products (e.g., rate recommendation tools and bill comparison features) using historical usage and billing data.

  • Engagement Analytics: Track and analyze website and digital engagement metrics (such as page views, clicks, and user interactions).

  • Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical findings into actionable insights and present recommendations clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.

  • Professional Experience: 2+ years of professional data analysis experience, with a proven track record of reviewing large data extracts/dumps to identify trends and data anomalies.

  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Hands-on experience with Power BI for dashboard creation and data visualization.

    • Experience with Databricks or working with large, multi-source datasets.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

  • Core Competencies: Strong data validation and problem-solving skills, extreme attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills suitable for a regulated environment.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Proficiency with Google Analytics or other web/digital engagement tracking platforms.

  • Proven track record developing recurring customer analytics reports and tracking digital product adoption.
