Aquent is partnering with a global leader in the beauty industry, renowned for its commitment to innovation, quality, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. This organization is at the forefront of evolving its technology, supply chain, and customer operations to foster a more connected, efficient, and responsive business. We are seeking a talented Project Manager to join their team and drive significant transformation in how customer orders and supply chain processes are managed across the organization. Your work will directly enhance operational visibility, scalability, and customer service for a brand recognized worldwide.
About the Opportunity
Step into a pivotal role where you will lead critical initiatives to reshape and optimize supply chain operations. This is an exciting opportunity to support a major Omnichannel Customer Supply Chain transformation, with a primary focus on Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Order-to-Cash process improvement. You will be instrumental in evaluating existing workflows, pinpointing operational bottlenecks, and crafting practical, future-state processes that will have a tangible impact on efficiency and customer satisfaction. From facilitating dynamic workshops to validating crucial operational data and developing comprehensive improvement roadmaps, your expertise will directly contribute to creating more efficient, scalable, and customer-focused supply chain operations.
What You Will Do
- Lead Value Stream Mapping (VSM) activities, including meticulous planning, facilitating engaging workshops, documenting current-state processes, and developing strategic future-state recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders across Omnichannel Customer Supply Chain and Order-to-Cash teams to identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and high-impact improvement opportunities.
- Map intricate end-to-end workflows, encompassing order processing, information flows, system interactions, critical decision points, handoffs, and clear process ownership.
- Collect and rigorously validate operational data to establish robust performance baselines using key metrics such as cycle time, order-processing time, on-time in-full (OTIF) delivery, inventory accuracy, and exception rates.
- Identify bottlenecks, delays, rework, duplication, and non-value-added activities by applying Lean and continuous improvement principles.
- Facilitate insightful discussions with process owners and subject-matter experts to validate findings, investigate root causes, and build strong alignment on proposed improvements.
- Develop comprehensive future-state process maps and actionable recommendations addressing workflows, responsibilities, controls, technology requirements, and operational capabilities.
- Translate findings into prioritized improvement roadmaps with clear milestones, accountable owners, dependencies, and measurable success criteria.
- Manage project schedules, risks, issues, decisions, and stakeholder communications to ensure seamless alignment and timely delivery.
- Support change management activities, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and successful adoption of redesigned processes.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to identify opportunities for innovative software solutions, AI-enabled automation, and improved data validation.
- Monitor implementation progress and evaluate improvements against operational performance, budget, and ROI objectives.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent qualifications.
- 1–3 years of project management experience within retail, eCommerce, or a related business environment.
- Proven experience with Value Stream Mapping, business process mapping, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Solid understanding of supply chain operations, Order-to-Cash processes, or end-to-end business workflows.
- Experience implementing software solutions, including Agentic AI or advanced automation technologies.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including process evaluation, data validation, and root-cause analysis.
- Ability to effectively manage project timelines, budgets, and ROI objectives while coordinating multiple stakeholders.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical and operational findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration, build consensus, and support teams across a global organization.
Bonus Points
- Experience with customer portals, order management systems, or eCommerce platforms.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or operational excellence methodologies.
