This isn’t just a coordination role; it’s an opportunity to shape the future of charitable giving, directly influencing how donors achieve their philanthropic goals and create meaningful impact. You will be at the heart of an innovative program, blending consultative support with meticulous oversight to ensure every grant opportunity aligns with strategic objectives and delivers exceptional value.

In this dynamic position, you will empower colleagues, advisors, and donors alike, helping them navigate complex philanthropic landscapes and maximize their impact. Your insights will directly inform strategic client conversations, refine our offerings, and enhance the overall client experience. This role offers a unique chance to collaborate across diverse teams, including Strategy & Offer Management, Grants, Charitable Consulting, Field Enablement, and Marketing, making a significant contribution to the organization’s mission and growth.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert for the Impact and Recoverable Grants offer, coordinating all related activity across various teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Conduct thorough preliminary reviews of donor-requested recoverable grants, meticulously assessing them against program guidelines, donor objectives, and critical impact goals.
  • Orchestrate due diligence processes and coordinate supporting documentation with external partners, ensuring robust and compliant grant-making.
  • Provide expert consultative support, responding to complex offer and client questions from internal teams, advisors, and donors with clarity and precision.
  • Oversee the monitoring and reporting of active recoverable grants, proactively identifying and resolving day-to-day issues to maintain program integrity.
  • Collaborate with consulting and enablement teams to strategically highlight the offer in high-value client conversations, fostering account openings and contributions.
  • Partner with marketing teams, lending your subject matter expertise to refine the offer’s value proposition, develop compelling marketing strategies, and craft impactful messaging.
  • Provide strategic guidance and behavioral insights to continuously improve the offer and client experience, including service models and delivery channels.
  • Identify and champion opportunities for operational improvements, serving as an internal resource on emerging best practices in recoverable grant management.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven experience in philanthropic grants, philanthropic advisory services, impact investing, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess opportunities against program guidelines and donor objectives, coordinate comprehensive due diligence, and maintain meticulous documentation.
  • Exceptional consultative communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex offerings clearly and persuasively to colleagues, advisors, and donors.
  • Extensive experience coordinating work across diverse internal teams and external partners, coupled with reliable follow-through on open issues.
  • Superior organizational skills and a keen attention to detail, particularly in monitoring grants and managing intricate reporting requirements.
  • Sound judgment in balancing an outstanding client experience with program requirements and critical risk considerations.
