We are seeking an Applications Engineer for a 3-month engagement.  This is an incredible opportunity to make a tangible impact, driving quality and enhancing user experiences for a new generation of applications. We are seeking a highly curious and detail-oriented individual to join a world-class team of engineers, analysts, and developers. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in validating and enhancing the capabilities of a cutting-edge Generative AI solution. Your work will directly influence the quality, safety, and user experience of an application built with modern technologies, ensuring its robustness and effectiveness. This is your chance to contribute to projects focused on materials manufacturing, development, sourcing, costing, and planning, working alongside diverse teams to bring innovative ideas to life.

Responsbilities

  • Collaborate closely with engineering, analytics, and program teams to validate and enhance a new Generative AI solution.
  • Actively test and improve a Generative AI-powered application utilizing React, Node.js, and Databricks, integrated with modern Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Provide critical feedback that directly shapes the quality, safety, and user experience of the application.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of automated tests, leveraging advanced tools and methodologies.
  • Build strong relationships across business and technology teams, fostering collaboration within a multi-layered organization.

Qualifications

  • Experience with React, Node.js, and Databricks, specifically integrated with modern Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • A Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 8 or 9 years of directly relevant work experience.
    • One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 6 years; Master’s + 7 years; Associate’s degree + 9 years; High School + 10 years).
  • Demonstrated awareness, collaboration, and organizational skills are essential for navigating complex organizational structures.
  •  A positive, can-do attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Exceptional ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies with minimal guidance.
  •  Familiarity and experience with enterprise data landscapes.
  •  A strong interest in working within a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  •  Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and business audiences.
  •  Proven ability to develop strong partnerships and influence peers across diverse teams.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $58.80 to $65.33 per hour. Compensation is based on several factors, including but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location
