Supply & Inventory Planning Specialist – Distribution Center Transition

Beaverton, OR (On-site)

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically strong Supply & Inventory Planning Specialist to provide critical operational support during a major Distribution Center (DC) transition initiative. This contractor role sits within the Supply & Inventory Planning team and is central to ensuring the seamless execution of inventory movements, system cutovers, and new facility enablement across North America and APLA markets. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments, communicates proactively, and can navigate cross-functional and cross-regional partnerships with ease.

Please note: This role requires availability for occasional ad hoc meetings between 5–7 PM PT to align with teams based in Japan. Flexibility is built in — team members may adjust start times the following morning as needed. No overtime is expected.

What You’ll Do

Lead DC ramp-down and ramp-up execution, including inventory transfers, Stock Transfer Orders (STOs), and inbound Go-Live readiness activities. Coordinate new materials purchases and support supply and inventory planning throughout the transition. Analyze daily and weekly supply and inventory data to proactively identify risks and escalate as needed. Manage Purchase Order (PO), divert, and inbound volume tracking across legacy and new plant codes. Partner cross-functionally with Supply Planning, Multinode Operations, Transition Management, and Marketplace Operations to support Go-Live readiness and post-launch stabilization. Maintain accurate documentation and support knowledge transfer throughout the transition lifecycle.

What You’ll Bring

Required: 3+ years of experience in supply planning, inventory planning, or a related operations discipline. Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and heavy data execution and analysis. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight timelines. Comfort working with international and cross-functional teams.

Preferred: Experience with SAP. Prior exposure to distribution center operations or DC transition projects. Experience collaborating with teams across time zones, particularly in APLA markets.

Work Location: Beaverton, OR — must be local or able to begin on-site immediately. Relocation is not available for this role.
