Are you detail oriented, analytical, and confident working across finance and business teams to keep processes accurate and compliant? Aquent is partnering with an innovative company to find a Finance Operation Analyst who will play a key role in reviewing purchase requisitions, supporting coding accuracy, and ensuring alignment with accounting policies and internal requirements.

In this role, you will work closely with business owners and internal partners to review requisition structure, analyze agreements and contracts, and help maintain strong financial controls. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of finance operations, procurement, compliance, and cross functional support in a fast moving environment.

Responsibilities

  • Review purchase requisitions to ensure structure, commodity codes, and general ledger accounts align with accounting policies and internal requirements
  • Partner with business owners to gather missing information and clarify requisition details
  • Review contracts and agreements to determine proper purchase requisition structure and coding
  • Update or restructure purchase requisitions and purchase orders based on new policies and requirements
  • Guide business owners and internal teams on purchase requisition standards, requirements, and best practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience, or high school diploma/GED with 8 to 10 years of relevant experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP
  • Experience working in a major ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
  • Experience with spend management tools such as SAP Ariba or Coupa

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a medium sized startup and/or public company environment
  • Experience supporting manufacturing and/or fulfillment accounting
  • Experience reviewing procurement, purchasing, or AP related transactions for compliance and coding accuracy
