We are looking for a Design Apprentice who will play a crucial role in maintaining brand integrity and ensuring the precise execution of design concepts, directly impacting the final products that reach consumers globally. This is an incredible opportunity to join a dynamic team at the forefront of product creation, where your design expertise will directly contribute to bringing exciting new apparel lines to life. Your contributions will be vital in translating creative vision into tangible, market-ready designs, making a significant mark on the product development lifecycle. This role offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of product design and development. You will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and quality of product schematics, acting as a bridge between creative vision and technical execution. You will collaborate with a diverse group of talented individuals across various functions, including Cross-functional Graphic Design and Design Support teams,  Product Development and Management teams,, Global Legal and Brand Protection teams
and Centralized Graphics and Print teams

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain all technical product schematics for apparel, from initial concept through to completion, for various product categories.
  •  Ensure accurate communication of all technical graphic content, including scale, color, placement, application, and details for trims and prints.
  • Collaborate closely with the Design team to understand and translate creative intent into detailed schematics.
  •  Work cross-functionally with Product Development teams to prepare schematics tailored for specific vendors.
  • Act as a crucial liaison, managing creative submissions with Legal and Brand Protection teams.
  • Communicate all feedback from Legal and Brand Protection teams to Design and Development teams, providing recommendations and guidance as needed.
  • Contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment, managing multiple tasks and contributing to seasonal product cycles

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, fashion design, product design, apparel or accessory design, material design, textile design, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in design, apparel, or a design-related industry involving product creation, with a focus on graphic design schematics for apparel or footwear.
  •  Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, coupled with flexibility and tolerance for ambiguity.
  • Foundational understanding of apparel construction, graphic applications, and tech pack creation
  • Experience with 3D rendering software is a nice-to-have.
