Our large Canadian financial client is looking for a Digital Product Designer to join their team. The designer will be working on the client acquisition experience on the Consumer Banking Journey. The designer would work with a cross-functional team and various stakeholders to define the experience and requirements to meet business objectives.
The designer will be part of a 4-person squad (Interaction Designer, Visual Designer, Content Designer and Design Researcher), led by a Design Lead and working on a daily basis with a number of cross-functional partners: product managers, project managers, business analysts, developers and quality assurance teams. The designers will be informing their designs and validating their hypothesis/solutions through testing. The solution will be needed in various fidelities to communicate accordingly to the team and stakeholders. Throughout working through the solution, the designer is expected to provide their direction and expertise with their cross-functional team members.

Must Have Skills:
- Digital Product design experience, in an IXD / Visual Designer role (responsive web and native apps)
- Solid typography, visual hierarchy and concepting skills
- Experience working with complex design systems
- Lean UX and working with Agile dev teams
- Usability research
Nice to Have Skills:
- Has worked with large design teams and multiple stakeholders (Product/Business/Technical partners)
- Experience creating user journeys, wireframes, and information architecture
- Figma experience
