About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled consultant to partner with our Internal Audit & Control team to elevate our analytics, automation, and reporting capabilities.

This role will play a critical part in advancing the maturity of our Internal Control function by delivering scalable data solutions, enhancing reporting frameworks, and enabling the team to independently build and sustain capabilities over time.

This is a hybrid strategic + hands-on role requiring someone who can both build solutions and influence decision-making through data-driven insights.

What You’ll Do

�� Analytics & Reporting

  • Design and develop scalable Power BI dashboards across Internal Control programs (e.g., store audits, T&E)
  • Build executive-level reporting alongside operational drill-down views
  • Define and standardize KPIs, calculation logic, and reporting frameworks

�� Insights & Risk Identification

  • Analyze large datasets to identify:
    • Control gaps and non-compliance
    • Emerging trends and root causes
  • Translate data into actionable insights to support remediation and process improvements
  • Partner with stakeholders to drive data-informed decision-making

�� Automation & Advanced Solutions

  • Develop and optimize Power Automate workflows (alerts, approvals, exception handling)
  • Support AI-enabled analytics initiatives to identify risk patterns and anomalies
  • Collaborate with Internal Control and IT to integrate new data sources and workflows

�� Enablement & Capability Building (Critical)

  • Create SOPs and documentation for:
    • Power BI datasets and governance
    • Dashboard maintenance and change management
    • Automation workflows and controls
  • Build reusable templates and analytical frameworks
  • Provide hands-on knowledge transfer, enabling the team to independently maintain and scale solutions

âš¡ Ad Hoc & Strategic Support

  • Support evolving Internal Control priorities through:
    • One-off analyses and deep dives
    • Temporary dashboards and pilots
    • Thought partnership on new initiatives
  • Flex between execution, advisory, and problem-solving as business needs evolve

What You Bring

Experience

  • 5+ years in Internal Audit, Internal Controls, Finance, or Consulting
  • 3+ years supporting data-enabled audit, risk, or control functions
  • Experience in Retail or CPG environments preferred

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Advanced Power BI expertise (dashboarding, DAX, data modeling)
  • Strong understanding of internal control frameworks and audit processes
  • Experience with automation tools (Power Automate required)
  • Exposure to AI-driven analytics or predictive insights (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Excel; working knowledge of SQL, Python, or R is a plus
