Are you a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager with a passion for retail development? We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join a dynamic team and make a significant impact on the evolution of retail spaces. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering and maintaining exceptional retail environments, directly influencing consumer experiences and supporting the strategic expansion of our client’s global fleet. This is an exciting opportunity to serve as a critical utility player, stepping in to project manage key concept work and contribute to vital initiatives that ensure optimal store conditions and seamless operations. Your expertise will be essential in driving projects forward and supporting a team dedicated to excellence.
**What You’ll Do:**
* Lead and manage project coordination, ensuring smooth communication and follow-ups between leadership and territory teams.
* Track construction and facilities projects, maintaining schedules, updating milestones, and generating essential portfolio-level reports.
* Oversee project budget tracking for new store openings and remodels, meticulously documenting financial status at the project level.
* Maintain project cost data within internal systems and databases to support accurate construction cost reporting and guardrails across various geographies.
* Coordinate with territory stakeholders, Real Estate, and Finance to gather and document project cost inputs and models for governance reviews.
* Assist with vendor setup, purchase order creation, invoice tracking, and related documentation, ensuring alignment with established processes.
* Collect and organize critical data related to budgets, schedules, risks, and performance metrics for comprehensive reporting.
* Support facilities management activities, including maintenance tracking, asset data collection, and service performance reporting.
* Coordinate with vendors and service providers, aligning activities with preferred agreements and processes.
* Facilitate cross-territory collaboration by capturing lessons learned and maintaining shared reference materials.
* Escalate issues, risks, or dependencies to senior team members and actively support resolution tracking.
**What You Bring:**
**Must-Have Qualifications:**
* 6-7 years of experience in retail store environments or project management.
* Proven project management expertise with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
* Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including excellent knowledge of Excel and basic knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* Demonstrated experience with financial reports and understanding of contracts.
* Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
* Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
**Highly Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience in retail corporate environments, particularly within a multi-cultural organization.
* Strong preference for experience in retail store development.
* A background in finance.
* Familiarity with project management software such as Smartsheet or Airtable.
* Experience within the consumer goods industry, especially with clothing, activewear, or luxury retailers.
