Designer, Motion + Graphic | Ecommerce Retail Creative

Overview

Aquent is partnering with a leading retail organization to hire talented Graphic and Motion Designers to support their major consumer brands across ecommerce, social, and promotional marketing channels. In this contract opportunity, you will work in a fast-paced, in-house creative environment delivering high-visibility campaigns seen by millions.

What You’ll Do:

• Design high-volume ecommerce creative assets
• Produce:
  • Social graphics
  • Motion ads
  • Emails
  • Homepage assets
  • Flyers
  • Catalogues
• Translate marketing briefs into polished creative
• Manage revisions and deadlines
• Support promotional campaigns across multiple brands
• Collaborate with marketing, producers, and creative teams
• Maintain production and technical standards

What You’ll Bring:

• 4+ years graphic design experience
• Retail, ecommerce, or agency design background
• Strong Adobe Creative Cloud expertise
• Figma proficiency
• Motion graphics experience (preferred or required for motion role)
• Excellent typography and layout skills
• Promotional design experience
• Ability to thrive in deadline-heavy environments

Nice to Have:

• Workfront experience
• Bilingual production experience
• Catalogue/flyer design
• Loyalty or promotional marketing experience
• Enterprise in-house creative team background

The target hiring compensation for this role is C$31-C$36/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
