We’re searching for a dynamic individual to help build and scale a rapidly growing social branded content and integration business. In this pivotal role, you’ll be at the forefront of developing and distributing industry-leading integrated content for partners, directly contributing to revenue growth and expanding the reach of a beloved sports media platform. Your strategic insights and meticulous execution will empower you to make a significant impact, ensuring content resonates with a massive audience and drives key business objectives.
**What You’ll Do:**
* Manage all aspects of distribution for social ad campaigns and talent partnerships, including meticulous tracking, reporting, and communication across internal and external stakeholders.
* Maintain an expert-level understanding of all major social platforms, including frequent product and algorithm changes, ensuring optimal content creation and distribution while upholding content quality and brand tone.
* Act as a catalyst, driving strategic partner solutions for branded and integrated content throughout the RFP process, collaborating closely with production and creative teams to support revenue-generating projects.
* Actively participate in social editorial and creative studio meetings, including campaign brainstorms and kick-offs with external creative partners.
* Contribute creative insights and brainstorm ideas for writers and developers during the RFP process.
* Serve as an internal expert, educating teams on social media best practices and emerging trends.
* Monitor and analyze the latest social media tools, trends, and how other companies are leveraging social for brand extensions.
* Ensure all content output adheres to established editorial procedures, legal requirements, and resonates with the target audience, with oversight from supervisors and peers.
**Must-Have Qualifications:**
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
* 1+ years of experience in social media, social marketing, or a closely related field, with demonstrated experience developing or managing content for platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and/or YouTube, along with a firm understanding of their functionalities.
* Elite knowledge of the sports landscape, including current athletes, rules, and events.
* Sound editorial judgment, writing, and editing skills.
* Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as sports events frequently occur during these times.
* Ability to react quickly and positively under pressure.
* Appreciation for and understanding of pop culture.
* Familiarity with content across multiple platforms.
* Commanding knowledge of social media trends.
* Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or a related field, OR a high school diploma combined with a suitable blend of related training and experience.
**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**
* Experience working with brands or agencies on social campaigns.
* 2+ years of experience using video or photo editing software (e.g., Final Cut, After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop).
* Experience tracking and reporting for paid social campaigns.
* Understanding of paid social across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, including ad products, emerging offerings, and platform-specific functionalities.
* Experience building presentations, including pitches and recaps, for leadership.
* Experience at a larger company is a plus.
* Ability to quickly engage consumers within a matter of seconds.
