Our beauty client is seeking a highly creative, socially savvy, and culturally connected Brand Engagement Associate to help drive conversation, excitement, and organic love around the brand across social platforms and creator communities. This individual will play a key role in identifying trends, building relationships with influencers, executing surprise-and-delight moments, and helping foster an engaged digital community.

This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes TikTok, Instagram, and creator culture — someone equally excited about trend forecasting and physically packing influencer gifting boxes for viral moments. The position will report directly to the Brand Engagement Manager with a dotted-line partnership to the Brand Experience Manager on community-building and seeding initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Social Listening & Trend Translation

  • Monitor TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging social platforms daily to identify viral trends, cultural moments, creator behaviors, and content formats before they peak
  • Serve as the team’s internal social trend forecaster, translating online conversations into actionable marketing insights and engagement opportunities
  • Develop real-time, brand-right ideas that capitalize on trending moments and increase visibility and reach
  • Provide weekly social listening recaps and cultural pulse reports highlighting brand mentions, competitor activity, consumer sentiment, and industry trends

Influencer Advocacy & Surprise & Delight Execution

  • Monitor creator and influencer activity in real time to identify authentic engagement opportunities, milestone moments, and viral conversations
  • Concept, curate, and execute premium influencer gifting experiences for VIP and Macro creators, including theme development, product selection, packaging, and delivery coordination
  • Support large-scale seeding initiatives for Mid-Tier, Micro, and Nano influencers in partnership with PR and influencer agencies
  • Help drive consistent UGC creation and organic brand visibility through thoughtful creator outreach and relationship-building

Community Building & Engagement

  • Support day-to-day community management across social channels by responding to comments and DMs in a timely, engaging, and brand-aligned voice
  • Identify standout user-generated content and collaborate with internal creative teams to amplify across brand platforms
  • Foster authentic relationships with online communities while helping strengthen overall brand affinity and engagement

Operations & Project Management

  • Partner cross-functionally with internal marketing teams, PR agencies, influencer partners, and external vendors to coordinate talent lists, product shipments, and campaign logistics
  • Manage inventory and organization of the social gifting closet to ensure products are readily available for reactive and planned moments
  • Track gifting and seeding performance metrics, compiling reports and insights to evaluate ROI and campaign effectiveness
  • Assist with product ordering, shipment coordination, mailing logistics, and inventory management

Qualifications

  • Deep passion for social media, influencer culture, beauty, and digital community engagement
  • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging social trends
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to adapt to a unique brand voice
  • Strong aesthetic sensibility and eye for visual storytelling and presentation
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Prior experience in influencer marketing, social media, PR, community management, or beauty marketing preferred
  • Must be able to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week
