This organization plays a crucial role in ensuring individuals receive the medications they need, contributing significantly to public health.

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team, where you will be instrumental in the precise preparation and distribution of vital medications. In this role, you will leverage cutting-edge fulfillment systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency, directly impacting patient health and satisfaction. Your expertise will be key to streamlining prescription processes and providing essential support to our pharmacy operations, contributing to the seamless delivery of healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process prescription exceptions, which may include resolving claim rejects and conducting member and physician outreach.
- Accurately enter member demographics and prescription information into the data processing system.
- Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and/or escalated member concerns.
- Escalate questions regarding prescriptions to a Pharmacist for interpretation or guidance on processing.
- Assist with inbound and/or outbound patient or physician communications.
- Perform other assigned duties to support pharmacy operations.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2-4 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Current Pharmacy Registration and Certification as required by the state of operation.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and medication handling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and physician interactions.
- Ability to problem-solve and resolve billing and prescription issues effectively.
