About the Opportunity

We are seeking a contract video editor to join a dynamic creative team, dedicated to elevating performance marketing video deliverables. You will be responsible for editing, spot-checking, and preparing content to precise specifications, directly impacting audience engagement strategies. What You’ll Do

• Assist the creative team in upholding a high standard for performance marketing video deliverables.
• Ensure daily content consistency and seamless delivery of assets.
• Edit, spot-check (Quality Control), and prepare video content according to detailed specifications and deadlines.
• Manage versioning and encoding for various delivery platforms.
• Facilitate the posting of final deliverables.
• Work effectively under tight deadlines and collaborate across multiple teams.
• Contribute to documenting processes and provide valuable feedback for software and workflow enhancements.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of intermediate experience editing with industry-standard video editing software.
• Comprehensive knowledge of video, audio, and image encoding formats, coupled with best practices for broadcast and social media.
• Proficiency with high-resolution file transfer applications (e.g., FTP, servers).
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks under time constraints and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong creative storytelling abilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and meticulous follow-through.
• Must possess personal editing hardware and ample external storage.

Nice-to-Haves

• A cursory or intermediate knowledge of motion graphics software.
• Familiarity with industry-standard creative suite software and associated plugins.
• Effective interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and the ability to interact seamlessly with various levels of management and teams.
