Aquent is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Data Engineer to play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and performance of cutting-edge computing systems. In this dynamic position, you will be instrumental in developing sophisticated software solutions, conducting rigorous experiments, and unearthing critical insights that directly contribute to optimizing GPU memory-intensive workloads. Your expertise will not only drive significant performance gains but also shape the future of system architecture and contribute to groundbreaking research initiatives.
What you’ll do:
- Implement software solutions to profile and collect performance data from GPU memory-intensive workloads.
- Design and execute experiments to gather, analyze, and interpret workload performance data.
- Identify optimization opportunities and evaluate methods to improve system performance based on collected data.
- Author and maintain robust and comprehensive technical documentation.
- Research and assess state-of-the-art methodologies within the research community.
- Communicate findings, insights, and data-driven recommendations to support ongoing research and performance improvement initiatives.
What you’ll bring:
Required Qualifications:
- Experience running experiments and collecting data on complex computing systems.
- Proficiency in building moderately complex software for performance analysis, profiling, and data collection.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as a collaborative member of a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Nice-to-have Qualifications:
- Experience with GPU performance profiling and data visualization software.
