We are seeking a talented Content Designer to join a dynamic team that values inclusion, collaboration, and continuous improvement. **What You’ll Do:**
* **Shape Content Strategy:**
* Develop and implement content strategies that address client needs for information and understanding across digital products.
* Facilitate collaborative design activities and ideation sessions to drive innovative content solutions.
* Articulate the rationale behind content strategies and provide expert design advice to product team members.
* Guide the broader design team on content communication standards, tools, channels, and processes.
* Champion client needs and interests in content discussions, ensuring their perspective influences product design.
* **Drive Content Creation:**
* Craft client-focused textual content, including labels, explanatory text, alternative text, metadata, and both internal and external (go-to-market) support content, aligning with design principles and product strategies.
* Collaborate with peers to develop non-textual content such as iconography, information graphics, and imagery.
* Apply Inclusive Design principles to all content design and creation efforts.
* Partner with legal, compliance, and regulatory teams to ensure all digital communications meet necessary standards.
* Manage the documentation and lifecycle of content from creation to archival.
* **Lead Research and Testing Initiatives:**
* Collaborate with Design Researchers to define critical questions for research and testing activities.
* Work with Testing and Design Leads to initiate tests assessing the effectiveness of content strategies and executions.
* Conduct competitive research and audits of content and messaging strategies to inform design and business goals.
* Perform content audits as needed to ensure quality and relevance.
**What You Need to Succeed:**
* A post-secondary education, ideally with a university degree or college diploma.
* At least 4 years of professional writing experience within a creative agency or in-house creative team.
* Exceptional problem-solving skills and a critical thinking approach to challenges.
* Proficiency in English.
* A strong portfolio showcasing your copywriting and content design work.
**Nice to Have:**
* Proficiency in French.
* A working knowledge of accessibility standards and implementation methods.
* Familiarity with current design and technology trends.
