Software Design Engineer in Test 3

Overview

This is an on-site role in Seattle.
Pay Range: $50/hr – $54/hr​

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the software quality and stability of their next-generation device platforms, directly impacting the success and reliability of groundbreaking products used by hundreds of internal employees and ultimately, countless users worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Write and maintain automated test suites designed to provision, configure, and execute software on prototype devices.
• Ensure software quality and stability across concept reference devices during the internal self-host program.
• Proactively prevent defects before release across various builds for the device family.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate test automation into the continuous integration/continuous deployment pipeline.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on software engineering or test automation experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts.

Preferred Skills

• Significant hands-on experience with provisioning and configuring Android devices.
• Familiarity with mobile platforms, particularly an enterprise-grade OS built on a widely used open-source mobile OS, is a meaningful differentiator.
• Additional years of experience beyond the minimum requirement.
