This is a US-based remote position that will start as a 6 month engagement that could extend up to 18 months.

About the Role
In this dynamic role, you will be instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable insights, serving as the central hub for the company’s sustainability efforts. You will play a crucial part in providing governance, reporting, and cross-team alignment to ensure progress on key initiatives such as Scope 3 emissions reduction, circular design, and embodied carbon disclosure. By standardizing practices and enabling collaboration across sourcing, engineering, and logistics, you will help mitigate financial risk and accelerate the path toward the company’s long-term sustainability commitments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain robust data pipelines.
  • Assemble large, complex datasets from diverse sources.
  • Automate reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop sophisticated analytical tools for deep business insights.
  • Design and implement compelling dashboards and visual reports.
  • Collaborate closely with project owners to gather and translate business requirements into effective reporting solutions.
  • Innovate and develop AI tools to boost productivity, such as validation tools for carbon-free energy initiatives.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Minimum 8-10 years of overall experience in data engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years experience with Strong proficiency in SQL, Kusto, Azure Synapse, DAX, M (Power Query), Python, and Power BI.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience working with Agile methodologies.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the development of AI productivity tools.
  • Extensive experience with modern data warehousing and analytics platforms and advanced data querying tools.
  • Demonstrated expertise in business intelligence and visualization tools.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • While no specific degree is required, equivalent experience in fields such as Business, Project Management, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Engineering is highly valued.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing sustainability projects.
  • Background in supply chain operations.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • Direct experience working with or developing advanced AI productivity tools.
